“Not only was I obsessed with the military look from the Vietnam war I also took a really keen interest in the conflict itself watching films and documentaries as well as collecting any books I could find in my quest for knowledge.
I even picked up this handmade North Vietnamese flag which I hung on the wall of my flat.
Again, as with the clothes becoming stage wear in early Death Cult shows its iconography also came into our records. Tim Page was a legendary photo journalist from the era and one of his photos from his book ‘Nam’ appeared on the front cover of the Death Cult EP in 1983!”
