“This is the dressing room sign from when The Cult supported Simple Minds at Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow on June 7th 1986 and the silhouetted figure is their singer, Jim Kerr.
Ibrox Stadium is home to Glasgow Rangers FC and the “auld enemy” to Celtic who Jim and Charlie from Simple Minds support. That meant they chose to use the Away changing room for themselves and we got we got to use Rangers delightful old school wood panelled home facilities including the giant hot bath afterwards. Proper old school football… hahaha”
